Adarsh Kant Shukla Cleared UPSC IAS at First Attempt, without Coaching

Adarsh Kant Shukla, A Boy from UP’s Barabanki district has cracked the UPSC Civil Services Exam in his first attempt and secured Rank 149 without attending any coaching classes.

Adarsh Kant Shukla, a 22-year-old from Mayur Bihar Colony, UP’s Barabanki district has cleared the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2020 in his first attempt itself and secured Rank 149 without help from any coaching classes. He will soon be going to take up his role as an IPS officer. His success has created an atmosphere of happiness for his family and friends and they are all delighted to receive the congratulations messages and calls from everyone.

From sources, It is revealed that Radha Kant Sukla, father of Adarsh Kant Shukla who worked as an accountant in a private firm was delighted while telling that civil service was his dream. But due to poor conditions, he could not appear for the exam even after preparing. And now his son has fulfilled his dream.

Adarsh is a meritorious student, he had completed his high school and intermediate exam from Sai Inter College Lakhpedabagh with very good marks. He has done his B.Sc in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from National PG College Lucknow.

Meanwhile, He was also a gold medalist in his college. After completing college he started preparing for UPSC Exam and has appeared in the UPSC exam 2020. He was just 21 years old at the time of examination. As per Adarsh, his parents have played an important role in his achievement.

As per his choice, IAS was always his first choice, the second is IPS and the third is IRS.

Adarsh said that there is no substitute for honesty and hard work. To crack the UPSC exam one needs to be consistent in his studies. He also added that to achieve this success without any coaching, he used to devote seven to eight hour a day and do a regular revision of already completed topics.
