UPSC Civil Services Notification 2023

UPSC CSE Notification 2023: UPSC will release the UPSC CSE 2023 Notification PDF on 1st February, 2023. UPSC CSE 2023 Apply Online Form will be started from 1st February to till 21st February 2023. UPSC Civil Services Exam Notification 2022 is scheduled to be released in February 2022. It will include the details for application forms and all the other information. The notification of UPSC Exam 2021 was released in March 2021 and UPSC Prelims 2021 was conducted on October, 10, 2021. The UPSC Mains Exam 2021 is scheduled to be conducted in January 2021.

UPSC CSE Notification 2023

UPSC Notification 2023 will be out on 1st February 2023 on the official website of UPSC i.e., upsc.gov.in. Important Dates for UPSC CSE 2022 | IAS Notification 2023

UPSC Academic Eligibility | UPSC IAS Notification 2023

  • The candidate must hold a PASS BACHELOR’S degree from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University, under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification.
  • Candidates who have appeared or intend to appear for the final examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply for the Preliminary Examination.
  • All such candidates who qualify the Prelims examination must produce a proof of Pass Bachelor Degree to appear for the Civil Services Main Examination. This Degree has to be attached to their application for the Main Examinations.
  • The UPSC may, in exceptional cases treat a candidate without the foregoing requisite qualification as an eligible candidate if he/she has passed an examination conducted by other institutions, the standard of which justifies his / her admission in the opinion of the Commission. The criteria may apply to candidates having a bachelor’s degree from any reputed foreign university, for example, Oxford, Cambridge, and Harvard, etc.
  • Candidates with professional and technical bachelor’s degrees that are recognized by the Government are also eligible to apply for example MBBS, BE, etc.

Number of Attempts for IAS Exam

It is important to note that an attempt is counted if a person sits in the Prelims exam. Mere filling of the application form does not count for an attempt. The maximum number of attempts for each category is tabulated below:
